The Prom nominated for two Golden Globes

The Prom is one of two Broadway musical-movies to be nominated

The Prom joins fellow Broadway allies Hamilton and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom as a nominee in this years Golden Globe Awards. Weirdly, all three productions are nominated for two awards each. The stiffest competition will be between The Prom and Hamilton, who both shared nominations in the categories below:

Best actor in a film musical or comedy
Best film musical or comedy

You'll have to watch the ceremony live on Sunday February 28th to find out who will be adding another sparkling trophy to their cabinet!
